| Various amounts of fibrosis and inflammation
occur after therapy. BCG often causes the formation of
inflammatory granulomas, while excision and cautery causes
fibrosis. The left two images show areas of granulomas seen after
BCG therapy. The right image is a calcified fibrotic scar at a previous
resection site. |
