| On the left is the image of the cervix. The center image is the baseline OCT or standard normal image taken from a remote area of the cervix. The right image is the OCT image under investigation. The right image (1st quadrant) has a dark epithelium, which can be clearly distinguished from the stroma below it. The stroma is relatively brighter than the epithelium. The clear distinction between the epithelium and stroma show that this image is normal. |
